Ferdy Sambo wife, Putri Candrawati, has been sentenced to 20 years of prison, along with her husband, who has been sentenced to death.
Sambo and his wife were following a three months trial on the case of killing Sambo’s bodyguard, Brigadier Nofriansyah Yosua Hutabarat, in July 2022.
Ferdy, who was involved in the murder, is a former high-ranking Indonesian National Police officer.
Before being involved in the case, he served as the Head of the Profession. He was also in the Security Division of the Indonesian National Police.
Although after being a well-known Policeman from Indonesia, people were shocked to hear the news killing of his bodyguard.
People have now clarified the Police officer as the mastermind; he killed the 27-year-old man and shot him with 12 bullets at the time.

Ferdy Sambo is married to Putri Candrawati; the couple met each other after high school.
But his wife came into the limelight after the report mentioned that she was the one to plan the murder of the bodyguard, also known as Brigadier J.
The trial mentioned that she violated many laws, including, Article 340 subsidiary Article 338 in conjunction with Article 55 Paragraph (1) Number 1 of the Criminal Code.
Along with Ferdy’s wife, more than five people were involved in the case, everyone was proven guilty after the trial, and Candrawati was sentenced to 20 years.
The court documents mentioned that she was the one to plan the murder. The reason behind being involved with four others in killing a 27-year-old man has not been disclosed.
The judge mentioned that Candrawathi failed to be an exemplary figure as a wife of a Police officer.
While being the wife of Police officer, she has failed as an Executive member of the Association of Police Officers’ Wives.
It has been clear that both the wife and husband were involved in the case, along with Ricky Rizal, Richard Eliezer, and Kuat Ma’ruf.
On the trial of January 16, Eliezer was sentenced to 12 years of jail, whereas Rizal and Kuat were sentenced to 8 years of prison.
Putri Candrawati Husband, Ferdy Sambo Sentence To Death
Ferdy is the only one who has been sentenced to death, among the other four who were involved in the case of killing the bodyguard of a 27-year-old.
The former Police officer was arrested in August and discharged in September; after a months-long trial, the news went on a different headline after he was released.
Sambo was charged with premeditated murder in violation of Criminal Code Article 340.
As in the trial for the last time, The Police officer mentioned that he was not planning to murder the boy, but in anger, it was done; he believed that his bodyguard raped his wife, Candrawati.
Sambo was sentenced by Wahyu Iman Santoso on February 12, 2022, along with his wife. Investigator believed that Sambo deleted the CCTV footage of where he killed the man.
Everyone involved in the murder has been sifted to jail after the court document was finalized on Monday.
Judges mentioned that it was not the right way to deal with the case as the Sambo believed that the bodyguard was sexually involved with his wife.
