Frankie Musonda Parents: Ayr United Defender Born To Jambian Father And English Mother

Frankie Musonda Parents are Carrington and Patrick Masonda. Football player Frankie represents the Scottish Championship team Ayr United as a defender.

In the year 1998, Frankie Chisenga Musonda was born in Bedford, Bedfordshire. When he was eight, he signed up for a professional association football team and moved up the club’s youth ranks.

Before deciding on a central defensive position during his tenure at the club’s academy, he played in various roles, including that of a striker. He was a member of the under-11 team that defeated Bayern Munich.

On August 11, 2020, Musonda signed a one-year contract with Raith Rovers, a team that had just been promoted to the Scottish Championship. Musonda signed a two-year contract to play for Ayr United in the Scottish Championship on June 22, 2022.

Frankie Musonda Parents are teachers. Miss Carrington, his mother, was an English teacher, while Patrick Masonda, his father, was a Maths teacher.

From 1993 to 1995, Miss Carrington, an Englishwoman, taught English to students in grades 8 through around grade 10. She later married Zambian math instructor Patrick Masonda and settled in England. They had two or three children and resided in the UK.

After their divorce, Frankie Musonda’s parents, Miss Carrington and Mr. Musonda, have divided their time between London, where Miss Carrington is retired, and Kabwe, Zambia, where Mr. Musonda is a professor of mathematics. Prof. Musonda has his own company, in addition to lecturing at several universities.

According to Patrick Musonda, a professor at the University of Zambia, his son had the option of playing for Zambia or England. The Football Association of Zambia has chosen his kid to play for the national squad, and the father claims to be happy about this development.

In March 2022, Frankie received a call-up to play for the Zambian national team. Patrick expressed his desire for his son to solidify his position on the national squad in an exclusive interview with ZNBC Sports.

In 2014, Musonda, a first-year scholar, was promoted to the Luton under-18 squad and given the captaincy. On November 4, 2015, he signed a one-and-a-half-year professional deal with Luton after guiding the under-18s to a 16-match undefeated run.

On August 30, 2016, in a 2-1 victory against Gillingham in the EFL Trophy, Musonda made his debut for the 2016–17 season and scored his first goal as a professional. He played in the EFL Trophy four more times before joining Braintree Town of the National League on a one-month loan on March 3, 2017.

On October 18, 2019, Musonda signed a loan agreement to play for National League South team St Albans City till January 2020. As his contract with Luton expired in June 2020, he was let go.

In March 2022, he was selected to play for the Zambia national team. On March 25, 2022, he made his international debut for Zambia, scoring his team’s third goal in a 3-1 victory against the Congo in a friendly match.

Frankie Musonda, a defender for the Zambia national team, had expressed faith in his group’s propensity for success. Musonda asserted that there is no reason the team could not succeed in remarks made to the FAZ media upon his arrival for camp.

Musonda also voiced his enthusiasm at the prospect of taking the field in crucial matches for the national team, particularly in Ndola in a venue he had never played in before.

He believes that the chance to start well in the two back-to-back games is provided by playing at home first, and he is looking forward to working with the knowledgeable coaching team.
