Audrey Hale was a transgender woman and a graduate of the private Presbyterian school.
As reported by ABC News, Hale was a Nashville resident who worked as a graphic designer and illustrator. A website indicates that she created branding and logos to help a business or company’s story.
A Police Spokesperson revealed that Audrey Hale was assigned female at birth. However, her social media account and LinkedIn profile reportedly included the pronouns he/him.
According to school president and CEO Cyrus Vatandoost, Hale earned her bachelor’s degree from Nashville’s Nossi College of Art & Design in 2022.
Vatandoost described Hale as “a talented artist and a good student” while she was a student at their institution. “To her family, the victims and their families, as well as our city, our thoughts and prayers go out,” the president and CEO added.
Audrey received at least one award for superior academic achievement, according to a post on the school’s Facebook page that has since been taken down.
On a personal website, Hale stated, “Aside from art, I enjoy binge-watching movies, playing sports, and playing video games.” “I have a childlike side that enjoys running to the playground. My second passion is animals. I also like to spend time with my two cats.”
Audrey Hale’s LinkedIn profile also includes information about her part-time grocery shopping for Shipt, a food delivery service, and her previous work as a cat sitter.

In a short phone interview with ABC Ness, Norma Hale, Audrey Hale’s mother, stated that it is a very difficult time for their family.
