They were giving statements to the media when three shooters attacked them, killing them both.
Ashraf was cut off mid-sentence during the statement as Atiq Ahmad was shot in the head. The attackers then shot Ashraf, and it’s unclear what information they would reveal about Guddu Muslims before they were killed.

Guddu Muslim Real Name Is Guddu Bambaj
As per this source, Guddu, who used to go by the full name Guddu Muslim, is not his real name; his real name is Guddu Bambaj.
Guddu Muslim, originally named Guddu Bambaj, started his criminal career young after being born in Allahabad.
Guddu is a wanted criminal in Uttar Pradesh and has been accused of various crimes, including the murder of Umesh Pal, a key witness in the Raju Pal murder case.
Umesh Pal was killed in February of this year. Guddu Muslim was allegedly given shelter by Akhlaw Ahmad, Atiq Ahmad’s brother-in-law and suspected of having been involved in the Umesh Pal murder case.
Guddu is known to have a history of criminal activities and is said to be skilled in making crude bombs. It has been reported that he was the one who threw the bomb at Umesh Pal.
Guddu became associated with Atiq Ahmed after the latter helped him escape jail when he was arrested in Bihar in 2001.
The Uttar Pradesh Police has offered a reward of Rs 5 lakh for information leading to the arrest of Guddu. Sources from the STF have stated that they have been tracking him for some time and could arrest him soon.
It should be noted that Jaya Pal, the wife of Umesh Pal, filed a complaint that led to a case being registered against Atiq Ahmed, his associates, including Guddu Muslim, and others at the Dhoomanganj police station.
Meet Guddu Muslim Son, Md Abid
A notice was issued by the Prayagraj Development Authority in March, posted outside the chicken shop belonging to Md Abid, the son of Guddu Muslim.
Information about Guddu Muslim’s son Md has not been publicly disclosed. However, it is known that he is the eldest son of Guddu, while details about his other children are unavailable.
Besides, the information about his son, wife, and other family members has not been released.
Guddu had three siblings whose personal information is yet to be disclosed. But he did not have a close relationship with his siblings, as he was shifted to Lucknow after his parents learned about his activities.
