Thabani Mpofu Biography Explored

Thabani Mpofu was born on April 13, 1982, in Ingezi Kadoma. He completed his education in Kadoma before enrolling at the Great Zimbabwe University (G.Z.U.), where he earned a law degree.

After the institution’s demise, he enrolled in the University of Zimbabwe, where he swiftly established himself as an advocate for the rights of former G.Z.U. Students.

He quickly found himself in conflict with the authorities after the fight’s conclusion, which resulted in the students’ recognition and acceptance.

The court application he filed against the University was the fight’s high point; it was unsuccessful, but it showed the authorities that a new form of activism was available.

In his second year, he filed a lawsuit against the University and the Government after the latter decided to make him pay school fees. He won the conflict and the students’ leadership in opposing the new policy and his suit in its public Campaign initiatives.

He began as an intern at the I.C.T.R. but soon advanced to the position of Legal Researcher.
