Former Alabama RB Ahmaad Galloway was deceased in his St. Louis apartment on Monday, per WVTM13.
Galloway, 42, was taught English to eighth-grade students at Compton-Drew Middle School, where Susan Reid, the school’s principal, said he was found dead during a welfare check.
Reid told WVTM13 that Galloway was responsible and always on time and doubted that something might be wrong that day after he missed a class.
“There was not anything disrupted at his apartment, so we think it could have been a medical issue,” he shared.
The exact cause of his ***** will not be known until the medical examiners submit their findings.
Reid also said it was a tragedy challenging to move on from. “It will take some time for the students to digest this. The kids here loved Ahmaad so much,” he said.
