Susan Louise Lorincz has been identified as the woman who allegedly shot and killed AJ Owens in front of her children on 2 June.
AJike “AJ” Owens, an Ocala, Florida resident and mother of four, was shot through the closed door by the 59-year-old Lorincz due to a dispute. Owens and Lorincz are reported to be neighbors.
The argument between neighbors arose after Owens’ children played in the yard. Susan has been arrested and charged with manslaughter with a weapon, battery, capable negligence, and two counts of assault.

Who Is Ajike Owens Shooter Susan Lorincz?
Susan Lorincz, whose full name is Susan Louise Lorincz, is a 59-year-old Ocala, Florida resident who allegedly shot her neighbor Ajike “AJ” Owens on Friday.
Authorities didn’t reveal the alleged shooter’s identity at first. In addition, Susan was not arrested immediately as the police stated stand your ground law.
The devastated cousin of the victim, Jai Riggins, shared a video on TikTok and revealed the face and identity of the alleged shooter.
The video has accumulated over 167K views and has been shared by several people on various platforms.
Along with posting an Instagram story, Riggins, who is active on Instagram under the username @jai_michelle, also shared a photo of the alleged shooter, Susan Louise Lorincz.
During a news conference, Pamela Dias, AJ Owens’ mother, also disclosed Susan’s name. Owens’ family, friends, and neighborhood residents pressed the authorities for Susan Lorincz’s arrest.
Moreover, Riggins shared an Instagram story showing the police escorting the alleged murderer back to her residence. Also, Jai accused Lorincz took down Owens’ memorial.
As for the alleged offender’s family background, not much has been revealed.
Ajike “AJ” Owens Kids And Family
AJ Owens was a doting mother of four adorable children whose names have not been revealed. The victim’s mother, Pamela, stated that she was an amazing testament to all moms in this world.
AJ Owens’ family revealed that her children were playing in a yard around an apartment complex. Lorincz, who lived nearby, screamed at them and ordered them to leave her property as she spewed racial slurs at them.
The Owens kids left the area hurriedly and forgot to take their iPad, which Susan took with her. When the victim’s son came back to take it, she threw a skate at the child.
The boy told his mother about it. Then, AJ Owens crossed the street to Susan’s house and knocked to enquire what had happened.
But suddenly, a bullet came through the closed door and hit AJ Owens. The young child gasped in horror, and sadly the victim died in hospital.
Susan Lorincz Charges
Although Susan Lorincz was not arrested initially, she was later arrested and charged. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office received significant criticism for delaying the alleged shooter’s arrest.
A statement published by the Sheriff’s Office revealed that Lorincz was charged with manslaughter with a weapon. In addition, the 59-year-old has been charged with two counts of assault, battery, and culpable negligence.
The sheriff claimed that the two women had previously engaged in conflict. According to the sheriff’s office, manslaughter with a firearm is a felony punishable by up to 30 years in jail.
As of late Tuesday, it was unclear if Lorincz had a lawyer who could represent her.
