The Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease is an inherited neurological illness that harms nerves, according to the Mayo Clinic. Usually, the non-lethal disease first affects the legs and feet.

The hands and arms, however, may finally come under its control. Patients with Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease may lose their ability to feel, have irregular muscular contractions, or have trouble walking.

I have neurological illness and neuropathy, Alan declared. “I inherited it from my Father genetically. I’ve been dealing with it for years, yet there is no cure. And it becomes more and more clear. And I am aware that on stage, I am stumbling.”

Jackson added, “It’s not going to kill me, but I’m suddenly finding it difficult to balance, even in front of the microphone. It won’t kill you. Not that I deny that I’ll be able to tour. I’ll make the best effort I can.”

Alan Jackson’s ***** rumors are trending on the internet as The Last Call: One More For The Road Tour had to be put on hold earlier this month.

The two gigs in Atlantic City and Pittsburgh, where the country icon was supposed to wrap out his nationwide tour on October 7 and 8, were postponed due to “health difficulties.”

The Jim Whelan Boardwalk Hall in New Jersey and the PPG Paints Arena in Pennsylvania used social media on Wednesday night to spread the sad news.

On his official website, the country legend acknowledged that his ongoing struggle with Charcot-Marie-Tooth is the cause of the sudden cancellations.

Jackson spoke to his audience to express regret for the last-minute adjustment and to update them on his health. I hate to let my fans down, so I hoped I’d be able to be there, the Country Music Hall of Fame member remarked. He said, “I did my best to play this show at this moment.

Fans were urged by the “Chattahoochee” singer’s team to keep their tickets since they will be recognized at the rescheduled performances in 2023.

The organizers haven’t finalized the replacement dates, but they did confirm that attendees would get more details through email from their ticket seller.
