As mentioned earlier, Alex’s Father is no more, as he died on June 10, 2021. Regarding Randolph, he was born October 25, 1939, in Savannah, Georgia as the son of the late Randolph “Buster” Murdaugh, Jr. and Gladys Marvin Murdaugh.
Talking about his educational background, Randolph went to Wade Hampton and graduated in 1957. During that time, Randy began dating Libby.
After graduation, he attended the University of South Carolina and graduated in 1961 with a BS in Business Administration.
During the summer of that year, Randolph tied the knot with Libby. Later, Murdaugh III went to University of South Carolina School of Law and graduated in 1964.
After completing his education, Murdaugh III returned to Hampton to work in his Father’s Law Firm. In the Company, he became an Assistant Solicitor for the 14th Circuit.
When his Father retired in 1986, Randolph took the Solicitor of the 14th Circuit role and worked until the end of 2005. He also worked as a Solicitor of the 14th Circuit for over eight decades. Randolph rejoined the law firm Peters, Murdaugh, Parker, Eltzroth & Detrick, P.A., in 2006.
