Avi Shamriz and Dikla Shamriz are the parents of Alon Shamriz, a 26-year-old engineering student who was killed in Shejaiya on Friday by Israeli soldiers.
According to an online portal, Avi and Dikla are originally from Iran. Their son, Alon, was taken hostage by Hamas terrorists two months ago.
In early December 2023, Avi was a special guest at the Palm Beach Hannukah celebration at Bradley Park. At the event, he talked about his son.
He said, “My son was kidnapped with his other friends on October 7th. They’re in my apartment.” He also shared some details of his son’s text messages.
