A Twitter video posted on March 2023 has left everyone confused, saying that Alvin Bragg has resigned from his position. However, there’s no evidence that Alvin has resigned from his position.
Meanwhile, his office is investigating an alleged quiet money payment made to porn star Stormy Daniels during Trump’s 2016 Campaign for the White House.
In the video, we can see him saying that Bragg has now stated that all charges against President Trump have been dropped and that Bragg is now resigning as D.A. because of his deteriorating mental health due to this case.
The claims appear to originate from a tweet by a user named Jack Posobiec, who shared a video of Bragg allegedly revealing a decision to drop all charges against Trump, and that he will resign.
However, the video appears to have audio edited from Bragg’s statements at the New York University’s School of Law on January 21, 2022.
The flags in the background and Alvin’s necktie match the clip shared online, but nowhere does Bragg mention Trump by name, deliver info about the probe or report his resignation.
