Denis told prosecution counsel Shane Costelloe SC that his mother had been in a long-term relationship with another man until May 2018. But she began going out with the accused man Nolan shortly afterward.
Furthermore, Amanda’s son told Costelloe that he remembered one moment when his mother and the accused argued about her ex-boyfriend, the Father of Carroll’s youngest child. Denis said he stepped in between his mom and the accused at the time as he wanted to defend his mom.
Two weeks before his mother’s *****, Denis testified that he came to House to find his mother and the accused drunk but in good condition.

Amanda Carroll Boyfriend Vile Sean Nolan Life in Prison Sentence
Amanda Carroll’s boyfriend, Vile Sean Nolan, was sentenced today to life in prison in November 2020 for the ******.
The court was adjourned briefly after family members became emotional during victim impact statements and screamed abuse at Nolan. Reportedly, Carroll and Nolan were both heavy drinkers and had an explosive relationship with alcohol.
The duo had been on a binge drinking session and had begun early in the morning on the day she was killed. Nolan drove his car while drunk, and both were arrested, with Nolan arrested for drink-driving and Carroll for a public order offense.
Nolan and Caroll continued drinking in a local pub after they were released from Mountjoy station and returned to her home in Cabra. Denis went to play football the next morning, but when he returned, he found his mother dead in her room.

Vile Sean Nolan Launched Appeal
As said earlier, Vile Sean Nolan is serving a life sentence in prison. The family of Amanda Carroll is devasted as Nolan launches an appeal against his ****** conviction.
Talking with The Irish Sun, Amanda’s sister Sandra laid bare the agony caused by the killer’s freedom bid to his victim’s loved ones. Sandra insisted Nolan deserved to rot in jail.
Sandra also revealed that she had been discussing the appeal with her Father. The family wants the killer to stay behind the bar. Furthermore, Sandra says a monster must not be freed.
