The Actress’ plastic surgery rumor began circulating in 2014. During her appearance in Karan Johar’s talk show, Koffee with Karan, netizens noticed some changes in her lip. Soon after, social media were flooded with mean tweets and trolls.
But the Actress bravely addressed the rumor and shed light on the truth. In February 2014, Anushka shared a lengthy note on her Twitter account addressing the matter.
“There has been so much discussion of me – mainly regarding my lips,” she tweeted. The PK star said she came forward to talk about it only because things have been blown out of proportion and the story took a scary direction.
While admitting she had used a lip enhancement tool, Sharma said, “for a short period, I have been using a temporary lip enhancing tool along with makeup techniques that I have learned over the years.”
She went on to explain that is the reason for changes in the appearance of her lips. “Now that I’ve made everything clear allow me to firmly tell everyone that I haven’t undergone any invasive procedures, such as “plastic surgery” or “going under the knife.”
The Actress continued, “that was my choice, and I made it to improve how I would appear in the movie Bombay Velvet, in which I portray a jazz singer in the 1960s and 1970s.”
“Also, the drastic change in my appearance on the KWK show was due to several factors. It’s not only because of my lips. Did I think I looked attractive in the KWK episode? NO. I could have done things differently,” the star added.

The Indian international cricketer and former captain of the Indian National team said that his wife, Anushka Sharma, made massive sacrifices as a mother in the last two years.
“We welcomed our child, and as a mother, she (Anushka Sharma) made massive sacrifices. I understood that my problems were nothing when I looked at her,” the star cricketer said on a recent Royal Challengers Bangalore podcast.
As far as expectations go, Virat stated that as long as one’s family accepts and loves them for who they are, they don’t expect much. Virat and Anushka tied the knot in 2017 and have a daughter, Vamika.
