When Gilbert went to the store, he was captured in CCTV footage, which went viral after police released it. The video shows a man clad in a mask over his face and using a large block to break into the business’s front door.
Cameras inside captured what appeared to be Gilbert kicking through a second door and going inside. It has been reported that Gilbert took a bag of goods worth over $1,600.
When he finished and was about to leave the store, he was shocked as police officers were waiting for him outside. So, he was handcuffed, and after that, his mask was also removed.

Arik Gilbert is reported to be in jail as of now, as he was arrested. He faces burglary charges as he stole a bag of goods worth over $1,600 from a store.
The Lancaster (Neb.) Co. Department of Corrections records show that Gilbert was taken into custody in the early morning hours of Tuesday.
