Athena, age 4, went missing on January 10. However, a shocking affidavit claims that her caregiver beat her to death on Christmas Day.
Athena’s murderer has been identified as one of her caregivers. For her body, investigators combed the area’s lakes, fields, and even her house.
Athena lived with Ivon and Alysia Adams, according to investigators with the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation. Agents claimed that Athena was related to Alysia, who, along with her husband Ivon, is currently incarcerated.

Under the records KSWO could obtain, Adina admitted to the Police that she had been left alone in the House after her sister vanished and had grown weary of it. The documents reveal that the young child referred to her caregivers, Ivon Adams and Alysia Adams, tragically as “mom” and “dad.”
Athena Brownfield Parents: Who Are They?
Agents have spoken with Athena Brownfield’s biological parents, who are assisting in the investigation. The names of her parents have not been revealed.
According to court documents, the sisters’ biological mother abandoned them with Alysia and Ivon for one to two years. For at least two years, the family resided in the House in Cyril, a small community about 70 miles south of Oklahoma City.

Four days before she was reported missing, on January 6, Police suspect the child may have vanished. The location of Athena’s body is unknown.
Who Killed Athena Brownfield?
On Thursday, Alysia was imprisoned on suspicion of abusing children. Ivon was charged with one count of first-degree murder and the same when he was arrested in Arizona on Friday, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.
He is currently waiting to be returned to Oklahoma by extradition. According to reports, Alysia told Police that her ex-husband Ivon beat little Athena to death before burying the body.
According to the report, Athena was barely breathing after the heartless attack and was also not moving. Then, after setting her down, he gave her at least three more chest punches. The court records also stated that Athena didn’t move again after that.

The following morning at around 1:00 am, according to Alysia, Ivon allegedly fled the House with Athena’s body. Ivon admitted to his wife that he had buried the body of the four-year-old girl close to a fence that surrounded their former property in Grady County.
