Audrey Hale Depression: Psychopath And Mental Health Disorder
During the press conference on Tuesday (28 March), police chief John Drake disclosed that Audrey Hale was under doctor’s care for an emotional disorder.

The chief said, “her parents believed she shouldn’t own guns.”
Authorities have identified the alleged shooter to be a transgender male who uses he/him pronouns even though, initially, law enforcement officers identified the suspect as a woman.
Authorities claimed that they had spoken with the Hale family, who knew the suspect had bought one gun but thought Hale had sold it.
The chief also stated that Hale’s parents felt Hale should not own any weapons.
Audrey left home with a red bag on the day of the tragic incident. When asked what was inside, Hale reportedly dismissed the question.
Don Aaron, a spokesman for the police, stated that the motive was unknown. But Aaron clarified that the shooter did not target any of the six killed persons.
The police spoke person disclosed that a mall close to the school was Hale’s potential target.
Audrey Hale Legally Owned Seven Guns
Audrey Hale legally purchased seven guns from five local stores between 20 October 2020 and 6 June 2022.
During the mass shooting, Hale had three firearms on him – two assault rifles, a pistol, and a shotgun – and police found a sawed-off shotgun at his residence.

At the same press conference, the police chief noted that the state has no law allowing officers to seize weapons from someone believed to be mentally unstable.
But he added officials would have attempted to stop any violence from happening if they had been notified.
If it had been disclosed, there would not have been legislation, according to Mr. Drake. “We would have tried to retrieve those weapons if it had been reported that she was suicidal or was going to kill someone.”
People who knew Hale were shocked to learn about the shooting. They described the 28-year-old as a quiet person without any interest in guns.
A neighbor Sandy Durham said, “she was very sweet. I don’t know what happened. It is terrifying.”
Hale allegedly sent messages the morning of the shooting warning of an attack and outlining suicidal feelings disclosed by a former school basketball teammate.
