Bam Margera Death: Is He Dead Or Alive?

Bam Margera death rumors are false, as the Jackass star is alive and kicking as of February 2023.

Margera revealed that he was pronounced dead last year when he suffered severely from Covid-19.

The 43-year-old was hospitalized in early December 2022 after having a severe case of pneumonia, as per TMZ.

The pneumonia was complicated when he tested positive for COVID-19 while in the hospital.

Since then, the Jackass star was put on a ventilator and was later treated in ICU.

To complicate things, Margera reportedly suffered five seizures during that time, which led to the doctors pronouncing him dead once.

Thankfully, Margera’s condition stabilized, and he recovered from the illness.

Bam was frequently in and out of rehab in 2022 as he completed a one-year treatment program for alcohol and drug abuse.

Earlier in 2023, Bam spoke to his Jackass collaborator Steve-O in an episode of his “Wild Ride” podcast.

The episode, released this week, contained the two friends talking about Margera’s health scare in December 2022.

Margera recalled that he was pronounced dead on December 8 and had four seizures lasting 10 to 20 minutes.

During the fourth seizure, he bit his tongue so hard that “it was nearly falling off.” It got so swollen that it wouldn’t fit in his mouth.

He was drinking the infected blood, which gave him pneumonia.

After having a fifth seizure, Bam couldn’t breathe without a tube down his throat.

When he woke up, the Jackass star thought that it was just a couple of hours, when in fact he only woke up on the fifth day.

Margera told Steve-O that he was in the hospital for eight days.

Luckily, the 43-year-old has recovered and is now healthy.
