He added: “You may know well that in April 2015, I was told that I had a chronic illness. Almost inevitably, this is just the beginning of a journey where issues typically get worse. And they have.
Most people discover a spirit that won’t cave in and, ideally, won’t be broken.” Even if it’s sometimes difficult, many people have it worse than I do.”
Many Everton fans are requesting Bill to resign from the post because of his health issues as well.
Although Kenwright, 77, has received repeated requests to resign, he made it clear in the letter that his main concern is raising the funds necessary to complete their newest stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock.
