Award-winning lawyer Bolanle Raheem was survived by her husband, Gbenga Raheem, with whom she had children and was expecting twins.
Bolanle Raheem was an award-winning lawyer who served as the chief Executive officer (CEO) and lead consultant of Croston Homes Consulting based in Lagos, southwest Nigeria.
Her name came into the spotlight when Raheem was shot dead on Christmas Day in Lagos by an Assistant Superintendent of Police, ASP named Drambi Vandi.
The deadly incident happened in December 2022, and Raheem was buried in the Ikoyi area of Lagos amid tears. Besides, her husband, Gbenga Raheem, also testified in the ****** trial of Drambi Vandi.
The Lagos State High Court will decide on April 4 if the case against a suspended Police officer accused of killing a lawyer will continue to trial, based on a motion arguing that there is insufficient evidence to support a conviction.

Bolanle Raheem Killer Drambi Vandi Trail Update 2024
Police officer Drambi Vandi fatally shot Bolanle Raheem. The funeral services were organized at the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
After that, the case of Drambi was going on, and recently it turned the other way. Justice Ibironke Harrison reserved the date for ruling after the defense counsel, Mr. Adetokunbo Odutola, presented his last written address on behalf of his client.
This was in response to a no-case submission application filed before the court on February 20, 2023. During the proceedings, Odutola presented an argument based on the ballistic report, indicating that the gun did not match the fired bullet.
The defense argued that the pathologist’s testimony contradicted the prosecution’s claim, as the pathologist stated that the bullet entered from the left through the armpit. In contrast, the prosecution alleges that the deceased was shot in the chest.
Furthermore, the state government charged the defendant with one count of ****** under Section 223 of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2015. The case was recessed until April 3 for a ruling by Justice Harrison following arguments from both sides.
