Brian Ward Disappeared In 2020- Police Says He Was Shot To Death,

When Brian Ward vanished, he was only seventeen years old. His family searched high and low for him, but it was too late when they finally learned where he was.
The D.C. Police discovered Brian’s body, and his family is still mourning the loss of their loved one. Their appeal for justice for their teenage son received widespread support.
In connection with the death of a 17-year-old teenager who was reported missing in 2020, Police have detained a 24-year-old male.
After he was last seen in late September 2020, Brian Ward was reported as seriously missing by the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD). His family expressed their worry, saying it was unusual for Brian not to get in touch with them.
According to newly filed court filings, Nguyen shot Ward at least six times in his car during a drug transaction in the 300 block of Allison Street in Northwest.
Nguyen consented to sell Ward marijuana via an app. When things heated, Ward, who had a gun, slid into the passenger seat.
Ward, according to Nguyen, was robbing him when he managed to pull the gun away and shoot Ward.
He claimed that after disposing of the gun, he drove off with Ward inside the vehicle. In the 6900 block of Contee Road in Laurel, near his home, Nguyen claimed to have dumped his body.
After Ward vanished, according to his Father, Nguyen moved to California to stay with family.
Jonathan Ward asserted that he was unaware of any drug activity and maintained that the suspect’s version of events was the only one that could be believed.
Brian Ward’s Family Is Still Grieving.
More than a year after going missing, the family of Petworth’s Brian Ward, 17, announced that his remains had been discovered.
According to Jonathan Ward, the Police called him on Thursday to inform him that a body thought to be his son’s had been found.
He claimed that a person of interest identified during the investigation revealed the location of the remains to homicide detectives.
When Brian was last seen in late September 2020, he was deemed critically missing. Jonathan Ward recalls his son’s request to hang out with friends after finishing his schoolwork and other responsibilities.
A few hours later, according to his friends, Brian was last seen getting into a black four-door Acura near his House.
Brian’s relatives said it was scarce for him not to get in touch with them.
The remains were discovered in Maryland, according to a Metropolitan Police Department official, but the Office of Chief Medical Examiner has not yet positively identified them. There was no known cause of death.
Jonathan Ward, however, claimed that some of the clothing discovered at the location matched his son’s belongings.
