Jason Arno was a hardworking firefighter killed in the four-alarm fire on Main Street. In a Facebook statement by the Buffalo Fire Department, it was said that Arno made the ultimate sacrifice.
The statement reads, Arno made the ultimate sacrifice while bravely battling a fierce 4-alarm fire on the 700 block of Main Street in downtown Buffalo.
Talking more about the incident, the firefighter crews answered the fire on the 700 block of Main Street around 10 am. On Wednesday noon, it was revealed that a firefighter was missing following a partial building collapse.
Around 3:30 pm, it was announced that the firefighter was enunciated dead at the scene. Initially, the identity of the dead firefighter was not identified. Later, it was disclosed that the victim was Jason Arno.
