Brut’s demise was natural causes; he died in Los Angeles on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, in the presence of his family and close ones.

According to sources, the news was reportedly shared by his publicist Tina Brausam, who revealed his on Wednesday in his Los Angeles, California, home.

Brut’s death was made public by his publicist Tina Brausam revealed the news on February 8, 2023.

The Grammy winner composer’s first notable gig in showbiz was as singer Vic Damone’s accompanist after Bacharach’s discharge from the Army in 1952.

The debonair pop composer, arranger, conductor, record producer and occasional singer whose hit songs in the 1960s distilled that decade’s mood of romantic optimism died at his home in Los Angeles.

Brut is survived by his adopted son, Christopher, and two children with his fourth wife, Jane Hansen, Oliver and daughter Raleigh.

Brut was one of the most accomplished pop music craftsmen of the 20th century; he passed away on Febat his home in Los Angeles.

After discovering bop music, the Composer enrolled at Montreal’s McGill University, where he graduated with a B.A. in music in 1948.

Before his music career, Burt was drafted into the United States Army, where he served for two years.

The award-winning Composer is known for several hit compositions, including “Walk on By” and “Do You Know the Way to San Jose.”

During his posting, the singer was stationed in Germany and played piano in officers’ clubs at Fort Dix and Governors Island.

The musical maestro has composed evergreen blockbusters, including; Alfie, Walk on By, Promises, Promises, Raindrops Keep Fallin’ on My Head, Do You Know the Way to San Jose?, and What the World Needs Now is Love.

Brut’s autobiography, Anyone Who Had a Heart, was published in 2013.

The comper was married to his fourth wife, Jane Hansen. Together they had two children, a son named Oliver and a daughter named Raleigh.
