As said earlier, Chael Sonnen’s name has been linked with various criminal activities, and the reports claim he has faced more than ten charges so far.
Further, Chael initially faced 11 total charges, including ten misdemeanor battery charges and one count of felony battery by strangulation. Later those charges were dropped to six and later to four.
As per the sources, in the lawsuit filed by the Stellpflugs in 2021, Sonnen attacked the couple “without provocation,” which resulted in multiple damages and injuries.

He also attacked the hotel employees in the same incident, as per the Las Vegas Metro police. The victims filed a civil lawsuit as he punched him in the jaw, departing him “in imminent fear for his health, safety and welfare,” documents said.
However, the fighter was not taken to jail for the incident, and Sonnen said he had taken Ambien earlier and didn’t know what happened that day.
Similarly, Sonnen’s gets date for trial begins on April 5, 2023, after the fighter denied to plea proposal for four misdemeanor battery counts in March 2022.
