Troy, The Dallas Cowboys, was the team for which American quarterback Kenneth Aikman spent 12 seasons in the National Football League (NFL).
He received a transfer scholarship from Oklahoma, won the Davey O’Brien Award at UCLA, and was chosen first overall by the Cowboys in the 1989 NFL Draft.

Even though Charlyn had never met a stranger and could converse with anyone about almost anything, she was shy. She was loved by everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

She cherished her friends, family, sports, and needlework. Her devoted family members will cherish the handmade blanket, pillow, or tapestry she made just for them for all time.
Her house was a haven of love, warmth, and plenty of bling (her favorite color)! She adored the holidays and would make plans for each month in advance.

Charlyn was quite pleased with the lovely family she had raised. Terri Starns (Rich), Tammy Powell (Mike), and Troy Aikman are her surviving children.
She also leaves behind her grandchildren Brooke Green (Mike), Brady Foreman, Drew Powell (Carolyn), Reid Powell, Jordan Aikman, and Ally Aikman, as well as great-grandchildren Charlyn “Charlie” Green and Bryn Green. Her sister Melanie Osendorf and brother Mark Bailey (Diane) are also left behind.

Troy Kenneth Aikman was raised in the California town of Cerritos after being born there on November 21, 1966. His parents, Kenneth and Charlyn Aikman, relocated to Henryetta, Oklahoma, when he was twelve.
Aikman dated country singer Lorrie Morgan, who was once ranked the most eligible bachelor in Dallas by Texas Monthly. On April 8, 2000, in Plano, Texas, he wed Rhonda Worthey, a former publicist for the Cowboys.
