We regret to notify you of the passing of beloved Cincinnati, Ohio, resident John Fay.

John Robert Fay passed away at his home on July 21, 2023. The late Carson and Marie (Myers) Fay welcomed him into the world on September 20, 1942. 

John Fay passed away on August 8, 2023, leaving behind a kind, giving, and dedicated legacy that those who had the wonderful pleasure of knowing him will always cherish.

Talking about Cincinnati Enquirer John Fay obituary and funeral details, his private funeral services will be held for John Robert Fay. The grave will be interred in Rushsylvania Cemetery. 

On Monday, July 24, 2023, visitors are welcome to pay their respects at The Price McElroy Funeral Home in Kenton from 3:00 pm to 7:00 pm.

In spite of the fact that John coached T Ball for the Bad News Bears, he always put his family’s needs ahead of all else.

With more than 20 years, he served as a certified deputy with the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office. For 12 years, he also owned and ran a Grade A Farm. 

His 63-year-old wife Cheryl; his three daughters Tamra Potts, Pamela, and Melony, 17 granddaughters, 40 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ann Morris and Linda James; and one brother, Larry Fay, are all still alive.

One sister, Joyce (Barnie) Ohler, one brother, Fred (Connie) Fay, two granddaughters, one great-granddaughter, one niece, four nephews, and two sons-in-law predeceased him.

Throughout his life, he ran an excavation company and spent 30 years as a mountie with the Hardin County Mounted Posse.
