Corey Edkin is a then-two-year-old missing boy who vanished from his home in Union County in October of 1986. He went missing on October 12, and his mother called the police at 1:10 a.m.
While reporting to the police, Edkin’s mother didn’t hear anything suspicious. After Corey’s disappearance, several ransom calls were made to different members of his family.
Debbie, who is the mother of Corey, received one in June 1987, and the caller threatened to sell Corey for $25,000 if she did not concede.

Corey Edkin Missing Case Explained
Corey Edkin went missing on October 12, 1986, and at the time of his vanishment, he was two years old. On the night of his disappearance, his mother, Debbie, put him in her upstairs bedroom.
Not to mention, Debbie lived with her roommates. At 11 p.m., Debbie checked on the children and saw them all sleeping. Later, Debbie went on to fill her car up with gas.
At around 12:40 a.m., Debbie returned home and noticed the front door was open. Debbie was surprised because she remembered closing it when she left.
She went upstairs to check on Corey but found he was not in bed. Debbie checked the rest of the house, but he was nowhere to be found. So, she reported to the police.

Corey Edkin Case: Is He Found Yet?
Corey Edkin case update shows no sign of him being found yet. Debbie told police that she received several strange phone calls in the days before Corey’s disappearance.
When Debbie answered the phone on at least one occasion, the caller immediately hung up. Later, there were reported sightings of Corey in some places throughout the United States.
One of the most credible happened in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania, in May 1989 after his picture emerged on milk cartons and fliers. However, a search of the area turned up no sign of Edkin.
Investigators have since concluded that Edkin did not walk away from the home. They believe the boy was abducted and that his abductor knew him.
Corey Edkin Missing Case Update – Man Charged
Recently, the police department has given an update regarding Corey Edkin’s missing case. A Mifflinburg man named Henry Bush with a misdemeanor count of obstruction.
He was charged after Milton state trooper Brian Watkins said Bush confessed to lying during police interviews in relation to the disappearance of Corey.
Bush allegedly told investigators during a 2022 interview that he heard the body of Edkin was in a gas station dumpster in Allenwood. Henry will appear later before Mifflinburg District Judge Jeffery Mensch for a preliminary hearing.
Not to mention, Corey had light blonde hair and blue eyes, and he was two years old at the time. If he’s still alive today, Corey is 36 years old.
