Cynthia Erivo Husband: Relationship Timeline With Mario Martinez

Cynthia is not married yet, so we cannot say that Mario Martinez is Cynthia Erivo’s husband, but they share a special bond.

The Harriet actress and Mario met while she was seeing actor Dean John-Wilson. They started dating in 2013.

She was seen with him on the red carpet in 2016 while he was performing as Prince Ali in the West End production of Aladdin.

He eventually struck gold and made his big move right after she and Dean had broken up. Mario simply came up to her and kissed her after their breakup. That’s how the pair met for the first time.

Cynthia is highly discreet about her love life. She did, however, dedicate several special posts to him in 2019. One of them was a Valentine’s Day monochromatic post in which she expressed her love for him. For his birthday, she also sent him a beautiful greeting.

She deleted those posts at the end of 2019, leading some to believe that they have broken up. However, it’s not a definite sign, and the two could still be happily together.

Admirers of the actress can all hope that she will soon marry someone and we get to meet Cynthia Erivo husband real soon.

In 2011, she played Deloris Van Cartier, the primary character in the UK tour of “Sister Act,” a musical based on the 1992 film starring Whoopi Goldberg.

Paradoxically, the part led to another staged musical rendition of a Goldberg character when Erivo played Celie Harris in the 2013 London production of “The Color Purple,” a role Goldberg originated in the 1985 film version.

In 2015, Erivo was the sole member of the British cast to accompany the show to Broadway, where he played the same part as Jennifer Hudson.

After her breakthrough on stage, she landed a recurring part in the historical drama “Mister. Selfridge” (PBS/ITV, 2013-). Her breakout appearances in films include the quirky drama “Bad Times at the El Royale” (2018) and Steve McQueen’s collaboration with Gillian Flynn, “Widows” (2018).
