She vanished on May 28 after leaving her friend and neighbor’s home. At the time of her disappearance, Smithers and her youngest daughter reportedly lived with her mom in Stroudsburg.

Dana Smithers ***** Linked to Bryan Kohberger
Dana Smithers was found dead on April 27, 2023. The Stroud Area Regional Police Department in Pennsylvania shared the news on May 1, revealing that Smithers was found in a wooded area next to Park Avenue/ 80 E on-ramp in the Borough of Stroudsburg.
Following that, multiple questions have been raised on the internet, and her ***** case has been linked to Bryan Kohberger. Not to mention, Bryan is serving his time in prison on ****** charges for the deaths of four University of Idaho students.
The students were found brutally stabbed in their shared House in November 2022. Authorities are also investigating the connection between Dana and Bryan.
Dana’s remains were found 30 minutes from Kohberger’s family home. With that, Kohberger’s parents, Michael and Maryann Kohberger, were called to testify before a Pennsylvania grand jury in the case.
A source close to the case says Bryan has a strong alibi and is likely not connected to Dana’s disappearance.
