In the video, White and his wife, Anne, are seen fighting, which TMZ made public on Monday, at a Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, nightclub on New Year’s Eve. After 5 seconds, the camera pans to Anne, who is visibly upset and covering her face. White approaches and she tries to run, but he grabs her by the wrist.

Then Anne struck her husband. And it was at that precise moment that White made a cowardly choice. She received two face slaps from White, who also shoved her to the ground as if she were a punk from the streets.

In an interview, White acknowledged his wrongdoing and explained it away as a heated argument between two people he had known since childhood.

Dana White Escaped Punishment For Domestic Violence

Despite being caught on camera slapping his wife, Anne, at a nightclub on New Year’s Eve in Cabo San Lucas, Dana White said Wednesday during the media day for UFC Vegas 67 that he would not resign from his position or face punishment.

His punishment, he claimed, is the stain on his reputation that will follow him for the rest of his life, and he pleaded with people not to defend him.

White claimed that on January 1st, he and his wife discussed the incident with their three children and sent them the video. He claimed that it was the first time he had ever touched a woman in a rage and that his children were the ones who knew him the best.

Dana White Received Calls From Lawmakers

Following the release of a video showing Dana White slapping his wife at a Mexican nightclub on New Year’s Eve, California lawmakers have called for him to resign from his position as President of the UFC.

On Monday, the California Legislative Women’s Caucus wrote an open letter to Ari Emanuel, the Chief Executive of Endeavor, the media holding Company that owns UFC. Anne White made a statement two days after the incident, claiming that it had never happened before and that to say it was out of character for him would be an understatement.

White claimed that his wife was not to blame for slapping him first and that he would have to live with the consequences of his actions for the rest of his life.
