Darren Drozdov Accident Linked To Death Cause
Droz was in the ring with D’Lo Brown on “WWF SmackDown!” on Oct. 5, 1999, at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York. Later, he crashed on his head and broke two vertebrae in his neck.
Because Droz wore a sloppy shirt throughout the fight, Brown could not grasp the wrestler when attempting his iconic powerbomb.
However, Droz could not complete a good jump into the powerbomb, contributing to the disaster.
Despite several hours of operation, Droz was rendered quadriplegic. Both Droz and Brown have stated that it was a complete accident.
Because the event occurred during a pre-recorded performance, it was cut from the broadcast two days later and has never been presented to the public.
