Lois admitted to killing her spouse in the second degree and was given a life sentence without the chance of parole.

After reportedly killing her 54-year-old husband, David Riess, in their Minnesota home one month earlier in 2018, she was on the run.

Authorities claim that Riess traveled to Fort Myers Beach, Florida, after reportedly killing her husband in Minnesota and stealing his money.

According to the Lee County Sheriff’s Office in Florida, Riess met Hutchinson there and is accused of killing her after taking her identity, credit cards, and automobile.

Instead, she entered a plea of guilty to all four charges: grand theft of a vehicle, grand theft, theft, and illegal use of identification and was found guilty of first-degree ****** with a handgun.

Police released security footage during the search for Riess that showed her leaving the condo, leaving in the victim’s car, and donning her hat shortly after the ******.

Riess had led authorities on a cross-country search before being apprehended in Texas on April 19, 2018, at a South Padre Island waterfront restaurant by two federal deputy marshals.

After then, a waiter at the restaurant recognized her from the police-released security footage.
