David DePape, a 42-year-old resident of Berkley, California and is suspected of attacking Paul Pelosi with a hammer. The assailant is currently in the San Francisco county jail and held without bail.
On the morning of 28 October 2022, an assailant broke into Paul Pelosi‘s home in San Francisco. Paul is an American businessman and husband of Nancy Pelosi, Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives.
While the assailant was taken into Police custody, Paul was used to hospital as he was injured badly. The hammer-wielding assailant who allegedly assaulted the businessman was identified as 42-year-old David DePape.

David DePape was booked in San Francisco County Jail. In addition to the burglary, assault, and elder abuse charges, he has also been charged with intimidating a family member of a public official, preventing a witness from reporting a crime, and attempted ****** (homicide).
The assailant is being held without bail.

The man who attacked the businessman Paul Pelosi has been identified as the David DePape.
The suspect, 42, presently resides in Berkley, California. David DePape’s stepfather, Gene DePape, told CNN that he grew up in Canada and left the country nearly 20 years ago to pursue a relationship that made him move to California.
David’s uncle, Mark DePape, was out of words and didn’t know what to think. He has not been in touch with David for over two decades.
In addition, Mark hoped his nephew’s alleged assault on the renowned businessman was a scam, as he didn’t want to hear anything like that.

David DePape Was A Nudity Activist Based In California
According to Yahoo News, DePape was locally known as a pro-nudity activist. He apparently picketed naked against laws that needed people to be clothed in public.
The 42-year-old lived with another nude activist Gypsy Taub and her family. He is also identified as the hemp jewelry maker and Father figure to Gypsy’s three kids.
The San Francisco Chronicle reported that the group that lived with DePape was also part of promoting conspiracy theories at the time, including an idea that said 9/11 was an inside job.
What Happened To Paul Pelosi, Nancy Pelosi’s Husband?
On the day of the incident, David DePape broke into the Pelosi family’s House. He confronted an 80-year-old businessman before beating him with a hammer.
Nancy Pelosi’s husband was hospitalized with blunt force injuries and underwent skull surgery. Although his condition has not been updated, he is expected to recover.
