His sister Betsy Deichmann Monroe, his parents, Donald and Gretchen Deichmann, his stepfather Howard Speer, and his nephew Guy Smith predeceased him.
Mike is survived by his wife Toni, daughter Gretchen Leonard and her husband Fred from Texas, grandchildren Victoria Riggs and Marshall Leonard from Texas, and brother Pete Deichmann.
He was famous because he was a devoted family man. As news of her passing circulates online, his name is growing in popularity.
