Naga presents BBC Breakfast regularly. She has also previously hosted Working Lunch, a daily financial affairs program on BBC Two and BBC World News.
She has always had a keen interest in journalism and rose to fame after working as a City reporter for the Evening Standard.
Munchetty started her career as a Reuters Financial Television reporter before becoming a senior producer for CNBC Europe.
Additionally, Munchetty has been hosting early morning briefings (UKT) on the BBC News Channel & BBC World News since August 2010. She frequently hosts Breakfast on BBC One.

Did Naga Munchetty Get Fired?
No, Naga Muchetty was not fired. However, she was forced to depart mid-broadcast in November 2022 due to an unidentified ailment that made it difficult for her to present.
During the event (November 18), Charlie Stayt, her co-host, was left to continue the show on his own when Munchetty was compelled to quit after only 30 minutes of the broadcast.
Naga stood down for the day after beginning Friday’s concert with a sore throat that made her sound a little odd. Charlie admitted that he wasn’t sure what would occur when Naga got up from the couch.
Many viewers complained that it was difficult to understand Naga’s first 20 minutes of speech. Another viewer said Naga needed a Strepsil.

Naga Munchetty is not believed to have departed BBC Breakfast since she addressed the rumors in January when she was named host of BBC Radio 5 Live from Monday through Wednesday.
But recently, on January 6, 2023, BBC Breakfast presenter Munchetty appeared to take a vicious jab at her co-performance stars on Friday morning when she implied sports presenter Mike Bushell hadn’t had enough sleep before the show on January 6.

Muchetty woke up in a cheeky mood again on Friday before she and co-host Ben Thompson entered the studio.

Naga started her career as a Journalist for the London Evening Standard’s City Pages. She contributed to The Observer’s Business Section as well.
After then, she began her TV career as a reporter for Reuters Financial Television. From there, she served as a senior for CNBC Europe, a business producer and reporter for Channel 4 News, and a presenter on Bloomberg Television.
Additionally, she competed on the fourteenth season of Strictly Come Dancing, teamed with Pasha Kovalev.
In October 2017, she and Sean Fletcher presented Britain’s Classroom Heroes.
Besides this, Munchetty appeared on The Weakest Link, a BBC quiz show, on Boxing Day 2022.
