Keough and the Australian stuntman fell in love instantly, and the two announced their engagement in 2014. In February 2015, the pair married less than a year later.

 

Smith-Petersen has worked as a stuntman in films such as The Hunger Games: Catching Fire and Suicide Squad.

 

He is also a performer. He co-starred in the 2014 film Spark & Light with Keough. According to Deadline, Smith-Petersen will also appear in the forthcoming independent horror film The Dead Thing.

 

Keough and Smith-Petersen married for the first time in Nepal, where they were building a school just a few weeks before their wedding in the United States.
