Don Schumacher Racing (DSR), which was established in 1998, has become the most prosperous drag racing outfit in NHRA history.

During the 2020 season, the team surpassed the important milestone of “350 wins,” further solidifying its premier reputation in motorsports.

DSR has won 19 world titles in three different NHRA classes, which is quite an accomplishment.

In 1974, he established a record in his “Stardust” Barracuda Funny Car, clocking in at 241.95 mph in 6.18 seconds. That year, he gave up driving to spend more time with his family and business. 

Except for his son Tony’s eight victories, Don Schumacher Racing has won almost 360 races since his return and 19 NHRA world championships through 2021.
