Fans of rapper Dr Dre have been worried about his health after he revealed he was sick.
Andre Romelle Young, better known as Dr. Dre, revealed that his doctors feared that Dre wouldn’t survive the brain aneurysm he was diagnosed with in January 2021.
The rapper spoke on his experience in a recent interview footage posted on Diverse Mentality’s Instagram, saying he didn’t realize how serious it was until after the event.
Even while anybody can develop a brain aneurysm, the National Institute of Neurological Disorders and Stroke reports that women are more likely than men to get one between the ages of 30 and 60.
Untreated hypertension, which Dr. Dre feels may have been the catalyst for his aneurysm, was said to have increased risk for some people with underlying health conditions, according to a June 2021 interview with the Los Angeles Times.
Is Dr Dre Sick? His Battle With Brain Aneurysm
It was revealed on Jan. 5, 2021, that Dr. Dre was sick as he had a brain aneurysm. He had been transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, the day before.
He was being examined in the ICU to find out what caused the brain bleeding. Dre took to Instagram the day after being admitted to the hospital to reassure his followers that he was doing fine.
The music producer spoke about his time at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where Dre reportedly received emergency transport to the intensive care unit in January 2021.

People described Dre as saying that since the incident occurred during the pandemic’s start, he was not permitted to accept any guests. Dre said they had to wake him up every hour on the hour for two weeks to perform tests like sobriety tests.
Dr Dre Health Update: How Is He Now?
After the fright, Dr. Dre seemed to bounce back very well. He first discussed his health in June 2021, telling the Los Angeles Times that he was “feeling wonderful” only five months after being admitted to the hospital.
He also took advantage of the conversation to encourage others to monitor their health and visit the doctor frequently. Dre admitted feeling strange about his elevated blood pressure while in the hospital.
He stated that he had always prioritized his health. However, there is a connection between Black guys and high blood pressure that he had no idea would exist. However, he stated that he is looking after himself.

Dre sent his fans an Instagram health update shortly after being admitted to the hospital, adding that he was doing great.

Dr. Dre has spoken about his experience with a brain aneurysm that landed him in the intensive care unit of a hospital in Los Angeles at the beginning of last year.
Doctors invited his family to stay with him during that time out of concern that he would pass away due to the incident, he explained in a recent interview for the Workout The Doubt podcast.
He disclosed that due to Covid, the doctors were forbidding any visitors or family members from coming up.

They did, however, permit his family to enter, and he later learned that they had called them to arrange for them to say their final goodbyes because they believed he would pass away.
