Dwight Ramos Career Explored
The Filipino-American basketball player completed his formal education at Walnut High School. During his days at the high school, he played under the head coach Joe khouzam.
The Ateneo de Manila University contacted Dwight to play for their team Blue Eagles. While Ateneo was a good option, the talented player decided not to continue his college basketball career in the Philippines.
He enrolled at California State University and continued his playing career with Cal State Fullerton Titans. During his time in the NCAA Division I from 2016 to 2018, he played for the Broncos of California State Polytechnic University in Pomona for one season.
Afterward, Ramos went to the Phillippines to play for the Ateneo, but before he could suit up, he had to serve a residency in 2019. He was more than ready to make his debut in the UAAP season 83.
But, the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. For the chance to play alongside his brother in Ateneo, he opted not to enter the PBA draft in 2021.
At that time, he joined Toyama Grouses of B League. Ramos remained in the league, and the rest is history.
