GB News star had physical therapy but needed walking assistance or crutches.

Thus, he decided to undergo back surgery. The day before his surgery was scheduled, Eamonn revealed that there was a twenty percent of probability of things going wrong.

A week after his surgery, the TV personality appeared on GB News from his House located in Surrey. He said it was early to declare that surgery was a success, and it would take at least three weeks to confirm.

Eamonn Holmes Suffer Shoulder Fracture While Recovering 

The 63-year-old Journalist underwent a second surgery after a fall while recovering, leaving him with a fractured shoulder.

In early November 2022, While recovering from back surgery and dealing with a fractured shoulder, Eamonn informed his well-wishers that he was going through hell.

At that time, Holmes shared how he fell down the stairs and fractured his shoulder. He was also worried as it meant a massive setback, and he needed longer to recover from two problems.

But, his condition was improving daily, so the renowned news presenter remained positive and looked on the bright side.

Holmes also excitedly shared that he eagerly waits to return to GB News and present the news and discuss issues with Isabel, viewers, and listeners.

The former GMTV news presenter continuously updated his fans and followers about his health via social media.

Eamonn Holmes Is Back To GB News After Four Months

Eamonn Holmes returned to work on 9 January 2023 and hoped it would heal him. He shared the exciting news on his social media on 8 January.

After a long hiatus, the GB News star returned to the air on the GB News show Breakfast with Eamonn and Isabel. He acknowledged that his spinal surgery in September 2022 has set him back rather than improved his health.

During the show, Holmes told the audience that he couldn’t walk. But he could do everything, and his legs were the only problem.

“Basically, I can do everything… everything above here,” said Holmes while pointing to his waist.

The Belfast native co-presented GMTV for twelve years before working with Sky News Sunrise from 2005 to 2016. The renowned broadcaster co-hosted This Moring with his wife, Ruth Holmes, until August 2021.

He is well-known for presenting It’s Not Me, It’s You, and How the Other Half Lives on Channel 5.
