An assailant described as Maurice Goosby, 30, approached the couple’s car as it was stopped at a light on their way to work and fired several shots in their direction.
Eina was shot four times, once in the head, and immediately taken to Harborview Medical Center for treatment. She underwent an urgent cesarean delivery for her infant.
After the newborn girl was born, Eina was reportedly declared dead, according to the authorities. The infant only had a limited time to live before passing away.
Goosby allegedly raised his hands when approached by police and yelled, “I did it, I did it,” according to court records that the outlet could get.
The guy later claimed he shot into the couple’s Tesla because he believed they were carrying a gun.
The shooting scene is complete with Kwon’s white Tesla. The tragedy in broad daylight has left the neighborhood in shock and anger.
However, Goosby approached the driver’s side of the car with his arm outstretched on surveillance footage, indicating the attack was unprovoked.
