Actor John May acknowledged many gun and knife crimes in Liverpool; most people involved in such crimes are economically inactive. John explained that many young people join gangs for loyalty or a sense of family.
“Accountability is what Weapons Down instills in them. At the end of it, they have also assured job placement. It teaches them success over time, consistency over time, and both,” continued the Actor.
The non-profit program, according to May, aims to aid in preventing young people from going on to join gangs and commit crimes.
On the other hand, Elle Edwards’ Father said rage and anger were not a good place and not productive. He said our job is done when we create positivity within their environment. “So let’s make this happen. If we can do that, then that is the outcome we’re after, added Mr. Edwards.
Elle Edwards Mother Gaynor Arrived At Funeral
Elle Edwards’ funeral occurred on 25 February 2023 at St. Nicholas Church Wallasey. The heartbroken mother, Gaynor, arrived at the funeral to pay her respect.
A private service was scheduled to be held at Landican Cemetery and Crematory afterward.
At the funeral, which family and friends attended, Elle’s Father, Tim Edwards, carried her casket into the church as mourners lined the streets.
Elle’s family, who was left inconsolable, described her as a special daughter and a light of their life.
Elle Edwards *****: Three Suspects Arrested
Detectives looking into the Christmas Eve ****** of Elle Edwards detained three people recently. According to Merseyside Police, a man and a woman, both 24, were detained on suspicion of planning to ****** someone.
The charges against Thomas Waring, 21, include helping an offender and possessing a restricted firearm.
Mr. Waring, of Barnston, Wirral’s Private Drive, is scheduled to appear before the Wirral Adult Remand Court. The Heswall man and Tranmere woman have been released on bail.
Connor Chapman, 23, has been charged with murdering Ms. Elle Edwards. Champman’s trial is scheduled to begin on 7 June.
