Meet Emily Seebohm Parents: Father John Seebohm & Mother Karen Seebohm
Swimming champion Emily Seebohm was born in Adelaide, Australia, in June 1992. The 6 feet (approximately 1.83 m) tall Australian swimmer was taken to her parents, John Seebohm and Karen Seebohm.
Emily’s parents admitted her to St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School until 7th Standard and later admitted her to St John Fisher College. The college is a catholic school for girls only.
Seebohm’s Father, John, was a former footballer in the SANFL. The pro footballer played at least 300 games for the Glenelg Tigers.
Talking about Emily’s mother, Karen is a swimming teacher and was the first of her daughter. Indeed, it must have been a proud moment for the mother-daughter duo when Emily won the gold medals in all her games and championships.
Obviously, Emily spent most of her childhood learning at the pool.
But her mother, Karen, has other things to say about her daughter. For Karen, her daughter will always be the cute cheeky girl who loved beating her elder brothers in a bicycle race. A cute little info to share about the young Emily. Karen said:
Earlier, she (referiing to Emily) was only the kid who just ran around screaming at the pool. When she was 12, we (Karen and John) finally realised how good swimmer we got on our hands.
After seven years, when she was 19 years of age, Emily went to U.S. for the Olympic Games preparation.

Emily Seebohm Family And Siblings
Excellent Australian swimmer Emily Seebohm has a sweet family of five people. Talking about her family members, she lived with her Father, mother, and two elder siblings.
As mentioned before, she used to play and fight with her two big brothers. Being the youngest, Emily used to grab all her family’s attention.
Likewise, she dropped out of middle school on her parent’s decision to continue her professional swimming career.
Talking about Emily’s love life, she was previously in a relationship with a fellow swimmer, Mitch Larkin. The two began dating in 2015. Also, the former pair owned a House in Hendra, Brisbane. They bought it together.
Unfortunately, things didn’t go well, and the two excellent swimmers ended their relationship in July 2018.
Seebohm has a swimming complex in Bracken Ridge named after her: The Emily Seebohm Aquatic Centre.
Also, she was awarded the highest honor in Australia, the Medal of the Order of Australia, on 26 January 2009.
Recently in 2022, she gained fame appearing on reality shows, including the Australian version of I’m a Celebrity: Get Me Out Of Here and The Challenge: Australia.
