Emily Victoria, a sexual abuse victim will release a documentary about her experience.
Victoria, who was taken advantage of by her father since she was a toddler, featured her story in a documentary, “A Paedophile in My Family: Surviving Dad.”
The documentary show was broadcasted on Thursday, (31 May) at 9 pm on Channel 4.

Where Is Emily Victoria Father Paul Now?
Emily Victoria’s father, Paul, was found guilty and sentenced to 14 years for his horrible crimes.
But Paul has been released. While working on the documentary, Emily contacted her father, asking if he would be willing to meet.
Paul rejected her offer after she sent him a message through a restorative justice facilitator.
Paul reportedly said it would “harm future attempts to find work and his progress in therapy.” When he got the message from his daughter, Paul was unemployed and living in council-owned accommodation.
Her Father’s Release From Jail Led Emily Victoria To Make Documentary
Her dad’s release led Emily to make a documentary of her tragic experience. She stated that her goal was to “start a conversation about why her abuse was invisible for so long to everyone, including her mother.”
Victoria added her motivation had become personal at one point. She said she doesn’t like to admit to herself, but what her father did still affect her life.
Emily bravely confronted her past and courageously declared, “Making this documentary is about making wider change.”
She stated people frequently avoid discussing abuse because they mistakenly think it only occurs in high-rise buildings in inner-city neighborhoods, private schools, or religious cults.
According to Emily, those beliefs make the signals so simple to ignore.
Emily’s mother, Kathy, was “devastated” when she learned what had happened to her daughter. According to Victoria, the news shook her to the core.
Immediately after Victoria told her mother about her suffering, she quickly moved to protect her, reporting her husband and filing for divorce.
Emily Victoria Abuse Story
As mentioned above, Emily Victoria was sexually abused by her own father since she was a toddler. It all started when she was only two years old.
While describing her life as a prison without the bars, Emily said people sometimes said she didn’t know what was happening was wrong when she was little.
In an interview with The Times, the abused victim said she knew something was horrendously wrong and tried to escape for years.
Emily reported her father when she was 18 years old. While filming the documentary, she visited police officers in charge of the case fifteen years ago.
Officers read her the notes from when they interviewed Paul, including his explanation for the abuse. The abuser said his daughter was a very sexual kid, adding he didn’t do anything she didn’t want.
What is more shocking is Paul said it was a very loving relationship, and he didn’t have to force Emily not to tell anyone. “No part of him felt guilty for what he did,” one officer said.
When her father was convicted and went to jail, Emily always believed he was guilty of his wrongdoings. She said she felt sick while listening to the officer, and the room was spinning.
Emily Victoria said she is now in a place she could never have imagined. She holds a master’s degree and has established a successful career as a business director in the media industry.
In addition, Emily is also a doting mother to a young son.
