Emma Adams was charged with murdering Mizzou student Samuel and burning his body in Fire pit at a North Columbia home.
Emma Adams, a 20-year-old, is accused of killing a student whose burned bones were discovered in a backyard campfire.
The University of Missouri student, who has high-functioning autism, was reported missing after being last seen taking an Uber to Emma Adams’ House, according to Columbia Police.
She first claimed when questioned by the Police about the missing student, Ms. Adams denied knowing them.
Later, she agreed when the authorities asked to examine the backyard, and the officers could see the remains in the Fire pit.

Adams was accused on Wednesday after Samuel’s body was discovered smoldering in a Fire pit a week earlier behind a Bentley Court residence.
When the University of Missouri Police were called to a dorm to do a wellness check, the investigation got underway. The call brought them to the residence.
At first, due to the condition of the remains, authorities claimed they could not identify them.
Before the filing of charges, CPD praised “members of the community for coming forward with information on this matter,” but it withheld any further information.
After then, the inquiry was launched after Clemons’ mother called campus Police to report that she hadn’t heard from her child in a few days, leading to the welfare check.
Police followed up on information regarding an Uber that Clemons was seen boarding on a video that transported him to Bentley Court.
Adams is claimed to have admitted to stabbing the victim out of self-defense. Not to mention, Police discovered blood on a car at the site, inside the residence, and in the garden.
On the other hand, an officer observed a portion of a missing mattress burning in the Fire pit, and a cellphone that matched the victim’s description was discovered submerged in water in a sink.

Emma Adams was arrested and charged with second-degree murder when Police discovered Samuel’s body. She admitted to stabbing a college student to death.
Not to mention, investigators discovered a bloody pocket knife in the kitchen & blood was also found in the backyard, inside the House, & in a car.
Police said they also found a phone in a water-filled sink that matched the victim’s description.
In addition to second-degree murder, Emma has been charged with abandoning a corpse, armed criminal action and tampering with physical evidence.
On Tuesday, Adams appeared in court for a bond hearing. Instead of the intended bond hearing, her lawyers asked that this matter be moved to a preliminary hearing.
The preliminary hearing will occur on Monday, February 20, at 9 am. She is still held in the Boone County Jail on a $1 million bond.

Adams’ struggles with mental health after graduating from high school, including suicidal thoughts and self-harm, are detailed in a video she shared on the social networking site TikTok.
Moving on, Emma is listed with a different address than the alleged murder location in online case records.
She is held in the Boone County Jail under a $1 million cash-only bond.
