Faith Da Silva’s dad, Dennis, was convicted of counts of rape cases in 2020. The former Actor was sentenced to life in person. Mr. Da Silva was also found guilty of four counts of child abuse.
As a result, he is currently serving in prison. Faith Da Silva has confessed she once felt embarrassed by the fact that her Father was in jail.
The Unica Hija Actress, who is currently 21 years old, disclosed that she was just two years old when her Father was taken into Police custody. The Father-daughter duo could not spend much time together.
“Yes, I felt ashamed back when I was younger. Since this is also my time to let my dad know how I feel, I’ll be honest.” the Actress said in an interview.
She continued, “because we have never met in person, and more than 20 years have passed,” The Kapuso series also expressed her gratitude to his Father and mother for whatever she earned in life.
“I was just humiliated at the time because, of course, I was young and didn’t understand what was happening. Who would want you to inform your peers that their Father is incarcerated? Nobody,” Faith further added.

Recently in an appearance in Fast Talk with Boy Abunda, the Actress announced that she had forgiven her dad. The Bubble Gang Actress said she forgave Dennis long ago and made peace that her life isn’t normal.
It is reported that Faith’s mother did not degrade her Father. Instead, Tina King often gave Dennis advice to her and her brother.
While remembering her Father’s words, Faith said, “my Father thinks I’m the most beautiful girl in the world and that he genuinely loves me. I remember that because I am the most attractive in my Father’s eyes whenever my confidence wanes.”
