Levi has a rare degenerative disease which his parents shared with the public in 2020. After sharing the news, the duo talked about their son’s condition and often gave updates via social media.
In July 2022, Levi’s mother, Jordan, took to her Instagram handle to talk more about her son’s condition. She shared some photos from March 2020, and Levi was a few months past his first birthday.
During that time, Jordan knew that something was wrong. While clicking pictures, the photographer asked Jordan if her son could stand or sit. But she said no, and they continued taking photos.
Meanwhile, Jordan thought that something was wrong, and she tried to get her son into a standing position. However, Levi wouldn’t put any weight through his legs at all.
Levi was super floppy in all positions, had poor head control, and even kept his hands clenched tight. In addition to that, Levi hasn’t said a single word. Jordan has also opened up about the problems she faces in communicating with her son.

In 2022, Jordan opened up on The Significant Others podcast, describing the heartbreaking moment doctors delivered the news to the duo.
Reportedly, Levi’s condition was life-threatening, and there was a very short life expectancy. Furthermore, the family lives happily, and the married couple also shares snaps with their sons on their Instagram handles.
In January 2023, Gary and his wife shared that they were expecting their third child. The pair revealed the news in a heartwarming Instagram post featuring Levi on his birthday.

Gary Ablett Jnr and his wife, Jordan Papalia, have been together for quite a while now. At the 2013 Brownlow medal ceremony, Jordan accompanied Gary.
After a 2015 season, Gary was out of games, and later he announced that he got engaged to Papalia in July of the same year.
Finally, the engaged couple tied the knot on January 1, 2016, in Coldstream, Victoria. After marrying for a long time, Gary and Jordan thought of starting a family of their own. So, the pair became parents for the first time in 2019 after welcoming a son named Levi.
