When convincing them with charts and evidence proved unsuccessful, she informed her family that they were robbing her future.

Her mother ended her international career as an opera singer when she gave up flying.

During a 2019 interview, her father said that Malena did it for Greta because she realized how much it meant to her.

Greta Thunberg Attacks Andrew Tate On Twitter

After Tate boasted about his collection of 33 automobiles in a tweet directed at Thunberg, a climate activist, Tate received a retort from Thunberg on Twitter.

Tate tagged Greta Thunberg on her official account, writing, “Hello @GretaThunberg.” He said, “I have 33 cars,” without going into detail about his fleet.

“This is only the beginning,” Please give me your email address so I will send you a detailed list of all the vehicles in my collection and their massive emissions.

His Tweet, which included a photo of him with one of his automobiles, was individually distributed to a 19-year-old Swedish activist.

When she first started learning about climate change, Greta was only eight years old.

Seven years later, she entered a contest in a neighborhood newspaper where she submitted an essay on climate change. She won the contest and, only a few months later, started protesting to authorities.

She began spending her Fridays outside the Swedish Parliament in August 2018 when she was 15 years old, holding a placard that read, “School strike for climate,” and urging for more aggressive climate policy.

Thunberg first came to public attention due to her youth and her direct and outspoken speaking style, which she uses while addressing political leaders, gatherings, and the general public.

In her speeches, she criticized political leaders for not doing enough to address the environmental catastrophe.

Shortly, other students started holding similar protests in their neighbourhoods. Collectively, they established the “Fridays for Future” school climate strike initiative.

Greta spoke at the 2018 United Nations Climate Change Conference, and the protest became even more common.

There were numerous organized protests spanning multiple cities in 2019 that each attracted over a million students.

Thunberg travelled to North America on a yacht instead of a carbon-intensive airplane to attend the 2019 UN Climate Action Summit.

She became a leader in the activist community thanks to her overnight success. As a result, she has won numerous honours and accolades.
