Meet Helena Matic

Helena Matic is one of the famous WAGS in football. She is getting even more prominent after the stellar performances of her partner in the ongoing World Cup.

Dominik Livaković plays as the goalkeeper for the Croatia national team (#1) and Prva HNL club Dinamo Zagreb (#40).

He has earned 38 caps for the Croatian national side since 2017. He was also a part of the squad which finished runners-up in the FIFA World Cup 2018 after losing the final against France.

Livaković is a crucial player in the 2022 FIFA World Cup taking place in Qatar. He won “Budweiser Man of the Match” after saving three penalties in the R16 shoot-out against Japan, helping his team win.

After Ricardo (2006) and his fellow countryman Danijel Subašić (2018), he became the third keeper to make three saves in a World Cup shoot-out.

It is to be seen whether Livaković continues a similar performance in the quarterfinal match against five-time champions Brazil.
