Herschel Junior Walker, an American political politician and former running back for the National Football League (NFL), played for 12 seasons.

He was the Republican candidate for the Georgia U.S. Senate in 2022, but incumbent Democrat Raphael Warnock defeated him.

At the University of Georgia, where Herschel played football, Walker won the Heisman Trophy as a junior.

Walker spent the first three years of his professional career with the New Jersey Generals of the United States Football League (USFL), and in 1985, the league’s final season, he was named MVP.

After the USFL was disbanded, Walker joined the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys from 1987 to 1988.

Herschel won back-to-back Pro Bowl and second-team All-Pro honors. Walker was sent to the Minnesota Vikings in 1989, a transaction regarded as one of the most lopsided in NFL history and thought to have helped launch the Cowboys’ dynasty in the 1990s.

Raphael Warnock, a Democrat who won the seat in the 2020 election, is the incumbent senator for Georgia, and Herschel Walker is campaigning to remove him.

The former Dallas Cowboys running back is currently attempting to continue his political career while contending with allegations that he had one and multiple secret children.

According to Roger Sollenberger of The Daily Beast, Walker acknowledged having two other children secretly just a day after a report revealed he had a second secret son who was alienated from him.

In a statement, the former Cowboys star defended his parenting and declared his love for his kids.

In the past, Walker has been highly harsh on absent Black fathers.

Walker’s position is hypocritical, but it’s also apparent that even the most extreme hypocrisy doesn’t always hurt American political aspirations.

Donald Trump welcomed the former Cowboys star throughout the former president’s administration.

Christian, a 22-year-old conservative social media figure who has also criticized Black fathers for being absent, was the oldest child of the former Cowboys face, and he did not hide him from the public. Christian is a conservative.

In 2018, Trump appointed Herschel Walker as Co-Chair of the President’s Council on Sports, Fitness, and Nutrition.

The NFL’s choice to include the Black Lives Matter message was also criticized by the 60-year-old Walker, who shared this criticism with many other Republicans.

In his 12-year NFL playing career, he was selected to two Pro Bowls, with the majority of those appearances coming with the Dallas Cowboys and the remainder with the Minnesota Vikings, Philadelphia Eagles, and New York Giants.
