Holly Jo Felix, aged 36, is the mother of Zoey Felix, the 5-year-old girl who fell victim to the heinous crime on 2 October 2023 in Topeka, Kansas.
Shockingly, court records reveal that Holly Felix is on probation for aggravated battery, a felony she committed in 2022 against her daughter, Zoey.
The court documents reportedly identify the victim as “Z.F.” and provide her birthdate as XX/XX/2018. Notably, Zoey was born on 07 March 2018.
Moreover, approximately two weeks before the tragedy, Holly had evicted a group that included Zoey, Ezequiel Felix-Guerrero (Zoey’s father), a teenage girl (Zoey’s sister), and Mickel Cherry from the house they shared at 2216 S.E. Market.
The information was revealed to authorities by neighbors. The group relocated to a campsite in southeast Topeka.
Tragically, on Tuesday, it was confirmed that Zoey had been raped and killed a day earlier.

Reason For Holly Jo Felix Probation
Holly Felix entered a guilty plea on 20 March 2023 for the felony charge of reckless aggravated battery in a manner that could inflict great bodily harm.
The victim in this case was identified as “Z.F.,” per court records.
Disturbingly, recent revelations suggest that Zoey Felix may have been a victim of the very crime her mother, Holly Jo Felix, is on probation for, as indicated in court records.
Zoey Felix mother was sentenced to 10 months in prison but got probation instead.
She also had to do community service and avoid contact with Zoey’s father and another victim.
In addition to the aggravated battery charge, Felix also entered guilty to a misdemeanor charge of driving under the influence with a child in the vehicle, marking her second offense.
These alleged crimes occurred on 18 November 2022. In exchange for her guilty pleas, four other charges related to the same case were dropped.
Furthermore, the agreement included dismissing two misdemeanor domestic battery charges and one misdemeanor criminal restraint charge filed against Felix in separate Shawnee County District Court cases from the previous year.
Remarkably, Holly Jo Felix’s initial DUI offense, which led to the second offense charge, occurred on 12 December 2007 in Nevada.
